About Classic Cooks

Classic Cooks caters for your full traditional Afternoon tea. There are also Workshops and Cookery Classes for you to bake your own delicious cakes, loaf cakes and savouries. The driving force behind this unique company is Caroline Siertsema-Hepworth.

She is of English/Irish decent, was born and educated in South Africa and spent a number of her childhood years living in Singapore. Since the early 80’s she now lives in  Winterswijk, in the province of the “ Dutch Outback”, where she makes use of the wonderful fresh produce the region has on offer. A different culture, a different  language,  it all requires a lot of adapting, but at least for Caroline there are no limitations for baking and cooking.

In our daily lives, baking and cooking have an important role to play, something that  Caroline is hugely aware of.  She enjoys the good things in life and willingly shares her delicious recipes with all of us.

Classic Cooks has a mission:  to ensure that you too will feel your taste buds stimulated, that you too will again  appreciate and find enjoyment from authentic good  home cooking. It is truly possible to learn the art of baking and to produce honest food, without using food additives or preservatives: with good ingredients,  in combination with tried and tested recipes, and with an eye for quality and authenticity.
